Noemí Amador files two oral questions targeting SAAS transformation office expenses and mental health

Noemí Amador, deputy president of the Andorra Endavant parliamentary group, has filed two oral questions with the Andorran government targeting the management of the Servei Andorrà d’Atenció Sanitària (SAAS).

The first question demands specifics on the annual cost of the SAAS Oficina de Transformació, covering both human resources and financial outlays. It also asks for the rationale behind creating the office and its precise role within the organization. Andorra Endavant argues that amid healthcare pressures and staff shortages, "it is necessary to ensure maximum transparency and efficiency in the use of public resources." The group adds that several professionals have voiced doubts about the office's real utility and impact.

The second query focuses on plans to permanently fill two provisional nursing coordination positions in mental health services. Andorra Endavant insists that any recruitment processes must apply objective criteria, with safeguards for transparency, equality, and open competition.

The questions are now under review, with government responses anticipated during upcoming parliamentary sessions.
