Andorra Digital Launches CBCD Website for Safe Tech Practices

The Centre de Benestar i Competències Digitals (CBCD), backed by Andorra Digital, has introduced a dedicated website to gather resources and projects on safe technology practices and digital training. Available at www.andorra-digital.com/cbcd, the platform targets residents, companies, professionals, and public bodies adapting to digital shifts and tech-related well-being.

The site uses a clear, theme-based design to outline the centre's priorities. Its physical base in the NODE building awaits construction completion. The "Serveis i iniciatives" area lists active programmes, including child online safety measures, guidelines for phone use in schools, digital literacy courses for people over 65, and tools to assess digital well-being levels.

The CBCD coordinates efforts across multiple fronts: spreading effective tech habits, managing training programmes, linking with partners, running workshops, tracking progress indicators, and forging global connections.

A key highlight, the "Espai d’aprenentatge," supplies learning aids, key-term glossaries, hands-on tips, and safety resources. It covers topics such as stepping away from screens, technology-induced anxiety, and managing information floods.

Other elements include a documents section with key reports, an updates feed on centre work, official contact lists, and a Q&A tackling frequent issues like fraud, online harassment, identity fraud, data leaks, and child exploitation content.
