Andorra's Batllia court has expanded its processing order against Xavier Caballol, previously known as "Ferrariman," in an investigation into an alleged major offence of reckless driving.
The decision, dated 21 May and issued by batlle Manuel Santolària Besolí, builds on the initial order from 24 October 2023. It grants Caballol provisional liberty while noting his unknown whereabouts as an Andorran national.
Because standard notification channels failed, the court published an edict in the Butlletí Oficial del Principat d’Andorra (BOPA). This formally advises Caballol of the judicial measures and his right to appeal them within five natural days from the day after notification, as per articles 104 and 194 of the Qualified Law amending the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The updated order provides a more detailed account of the facts under review, which the Batllia views as potentially amounting to reckless driving. The case remains open for further clarification.
