Police in Andorra have shut down an apartment used for prostitution in Encamp's Pedral neighbourhood, arresting a 32-year-old Colombian non-resident woman found with 14 grams of tusi, which authorities suspect was intended for distribution rather than personal use.

The operation on Thursday morning followed a weeks-long probe into suspicious patterns, including frequent male visitors—some arriving in luxury vehicles—and online advertisements. Judicial Police and Criminal Investigation officers raided the tourist accommodation, encountering two women suspected of offering sexual services and a male client who acknowledged the activity. A narcotics-detection police dog team helped uncover the tusi, split into two bags with a dosifier, along with plastic wraps for packaging doses and around €1,400 in cash, all seized.

The woman, who had arrived in Andorra a couple of weeks earlier after working in prostitution in Spain, faces charges related to introducing and potentially supplying or selling the drug—known as "pink cocaine" though not actual cocaine. Late Thursday night, the Batllia ordered her held preventively in prison to allow further inquiry into a possible larger network behind the operation. Neighbours had reported ongoing traffic to the address, and investigators believe other women had previously used the site. The client received an administrative fine under the Qualified Law on Public Security for soliciting sex.

Police emphasise ongoing efforts to combat prostitution, drug offences, and related crimes.

Earlier in the week, officers detained a 32-year-old man and 35-year-old woman—both tourists—for mutual assault at an Arinsal hotel late Tuesday, charging them with crimes against physical and moral integrity. Separately, a 31-year-old tourist was arrested early Wednesday for driving with a 1.27 blood alcohol level.
