Andorra's resident population stood at 89,165 on 31 January 2026, reflecting a 2.1% increase of 1,862 people compared to the previous year, the Department of Statistics reports.

Growth was strongest in northern and central parishes. Canillo saw the biggest rise, adding 427 residents for 7% expansion. Escaldes-Engordany gained 376 people (2.4%), Encamp 322 (2.4%), La Massana 299 (2.5%), Andorra la Vella 172 (0.7%), and Ordino 150 (2.7%). Sant Julià de Lòria recorded the smallest gain, with 116 new residents (1.1%).

The "other nationalities" category fueled most of the rise, increasing by 1,067 people or 7.3% to 15,757 from 14,690. Colombians led with 308 more residents, reaching 1,658 (up 22.8% from 1,350). Peruvians added 182 to hit 965 (23.2% from 783), and Argentinians grew by 129 to 3,333 (4.0% from 3,204). These three nationalities drove 33.2% of the category's change. The remaining "others" subgroup within it rose from 9,353 to 9,801 (4.8%).

Andorran nationals rose by 364 (0.9%), Spaniards by 308 (1.5%), and French by 250 (6.4%). Portuguese numbers declined by 127 (1.5%).

By age group, 73.4% of residents were aged 15-64, 10.7% under 15, and 15.9% 65 or older.

Municipal census totals reached 94,222 on the same date, up 1.3% from 92,977 a year earlier.
