  • Advice: do not click the link and delete the message.

The National Cybersecurity Agency of Andorra (ANC‑AD) has warned on X of a new SMS campaign impersonating the courier DHL that seeks to trick recipients into handing over personal or banking information.

The fraudulent texts present themselves as failed delivery notices and say: “your package has arrived at our distribution center, but it cannot be delivered due to lack of information.” They include a link that purports to let the user update their details to avoid the parcel being returned; the agency says the link is malicious.

ANC‑AD advises recipients not to click the link and to delete the message. These types of attacks are known as “smishing” and aim to exploit the high volume of purchases and shipments to increase the chance that users will be confused or misled.
