Cerdanya tops Alt Pirineu home-occupation reports; Alt Urgell falls in 2024

Over the past two years Alt Urgell recorded eight reports of home occupations, according to an ACN study based on data from the Mossos d'Esquadra. Six of those reports were filed in 2023, while the number fell to two in 2024; both 2024 complaints were in the county capital, La Seu d'Urgell.
Across the Alt Pirineu region, Cerdanya had the highest number of incidents, with 15 reports in the period studied — seven in 2023 and eight in 2024. Of the eight reports last year, seven occurred in the comarca capital, Puigcerdà.
By contrast, Val d'Aran and Alta Ribagorça did not register any reported occupations during the two-year span.
Pallars Jussà recorded ten reports (five in each year), and Pallars Sobirà registered two reports, one in 2023 and one in 2024.
