During the second quarter of 2025, 174 applications were submitted for child‑care benefits, down 7% from 187 in the same quarter of 2024. Of the 174 requests, 132 (75.9%) were approved.

Among the remaining cases, 26 applications (14.9%) were denied, 8 (4.6%) were archived, 4 (2.3%) lacked required documentation and 4 (2.3%) remained in progress. Women accounted for 76.5% of approved beneficiaries. Nearly all beneficiaries (98.5%) were aged between 25 and 60, and 93.9% were classified as adults.

By nationality, 31.8% of approved applicants were Andorran and 26.5% Spanish. Almost half (48.5%) have either always lived in the Principality or have been residents for more than 20 years. In terms of marital status, most beneficiaries were single (34.8%) or married (27.3%).

Single‑parent families were the predominant family type among recipients, representing 67.4% of awarded benefits. By number of dependent children, families with two children accounted for 47.7% of grants, followed by those with one child at 38.6%. Geographically, Andorra la Vella received the largest share of awarded benefits, with 34.1% of grants.

Of the 26 denials, the principal reason was exceeding the family LECS income threshold, which accounted for 80.8% of rejections.
