The Encants de Sant Antoni flea markets are returning to Andorra this winter in Encamp and Sant Antoni parishes, featuring charitable auctions of donated goods alongside escudella stew distributions to benefit local organizations.

Organized by the Comú d’Encamp, the events in the parish kick off on Saturday, January 13, at 1pm in Plaça de l'Església in Pas de la Casa. A charitable auction of homemade foods will precede escudella service starting at 1.30pm until stocks are depleted. Tickets cost €2 for a ration or €8 with a commemorative plate dedicated this year to the Torre dels Moros in the historic Les Bons ensemble. Sales are underway at tourist offices in Encamp and Pas de la Casa, with gluten-free options available at both sites.

The format repeats on Thursday, January 18, at 1pm in Plaça de Sant Miquel in Encamp. Auctions begin at 1pm, followed by escudella from 1.30pm. This tradition, designated a cultural event and intangible heritage of Andorra since 2010, relies on community volunteers to keep it alive.

In Sant Antoni parish, the edition unfolds on Sunday, February 8, at Plaça de l'Església de Sant Pere Màrtir. Starting at 11.30am, neighbourhood associations—known as *escaldenques*—will supply auction items, spotlighting artisanal pork products such as sausages, *bulls*, duck pâté, *coques masegades*, *coques de greixons*, and *orelletes*, alongside jars of honey and jams. Raffle tickets, priced at €5 and sold at participating shops in the historic quarter, direct all proceeds to Càritas Parroquial. Esbart Santa Anna will stage traditional dances, capped by a light aperitif.

These gatherings uphold enduring customs of solidarity and festivity as winter rituals like La Candelera approach.
