La Massana parish council has launched a tender for adaptation works on the third floor of the Els Arcs building, where it plans to relocate its traffic service. The move forms part of a broader restructuring of the Closeta building to enhance municipal services and allocate spaces more effectively to each department's needs.
Announced this week in the BOPA official gazette, the tender will award contracts for renovations tailored to the traffic service's requirements. The Els Arcs property, owned by the parish, provides significantly more room than the service's current cramped location, which struggles to accommodate the team of officers.
Planned upgrades include two offices, two changing rooms, a staff kitchen, and a shower installation. Contractors will also remove existing ceiling and partition linings, install double-glazed interior access doors, upgrade the forced-air renewal system, add main partitions using plasterboard, and apply a full repaint throughout the space.
