A court in Lleida will next week try a young man accused of sexually assaulting a minor during a sleepover at a home in Vielha in May 2019.
Prosecutors allege the girl had attended the pajama party when the defendant took advantage of the situation to grope her, until she managed to break free. The public ministry is seeking a prison sentence of two years and nine months for the man on charges of sexual abuse of a minor under 16, according to details reported by Ràdio Seu.
In addition, it requests three years of supervised liberty, a four-year restraining order barring any contact or communication with the victim, and €6,000 in compensation for personal and moral damages. Prosecutors also want the defendant barred from any work involving contact with minors for another four years.
The hearing is scheduled for Thursday at the Audiència de Lleida.
