Officer alleges woman accessed his bank records, threatened and assaulted him

A police officer has filed a complaint accusing a woman previously identified in local reports as a saig of improperly obtaining his bank information and of threatening and physically assaulting him through an alleged associate, according to the complaint lodged with police about four days ago.

The officer says he had an outstanding debt and was left with only a small amount to pay when the woman allegedly threatened that she would take money from his pension plan if he did not settle the full debt. The bank, he claims, had told him she could not touch those pension funds. After spending the money, he received a call in which the woman allegedly told him “who was I to dispose of those funds without paying her” and proceeded to list purchases as if she had access to his bank statement.

When the officer asked how she had obtained that information, the complaint states she told him it came from the bank’s legal department. The director of the bank reportedly told the officer that such information could only have been obtained illegally, through an insider or informant within the institution, according to the complaint.

Days later, after paying the remaining euros in person, the officer asked the woman to lift the garnishment quickly. He says she replied she would do so “when she wanted,” in what he describes as a cocky tone. At that moment the person accompanying her—introduced as a collaborator but said to be her son—allegedly pushed the officer out of the office with several shoves.

The complaint raises suspicions of threats, improper access to banking secrets, and a possible attempt to flee the country, the officer alleges. Authorities are expected to investigate this complaint along with others already filed.
