Rotary Club Donates 48 Christmas Meal Kits to Andorran Red Cross

The Rotary Club of Andorra has donated 48 customized Christmas meal kits to the Andorran Red Cross's solidarity store under the "1 family, 1 menu" campaign, enabling vulnerable families to prepare special New Year's Eve meals.

Each kit contains ingredients for an appetizer, a piece of meat, and traditional neules pastries, tailored to the size of each household. The Red Cross stated that the meals will be used by beneficiaries during Cap d'Any celebrations, promoting dignified holiday gatherings for those facing economic hardship.

This marks the fifth consecutive year of the partnership, which began in 2020 and focuses on providing festive support through the solidarity store. The store offers essential aid to meet families' basic needs with continuous volunteer assistance.

At the handover event, Rotary Club president Martí Bové reaffirmed the club's dedication to social welfare. He said the group seeks to stand by families in difficulty during the holidays, delivering direct help through collaborations like this one with the Red Cross.

Red Cross Andorra president Vicky Marrugat described the store as a vital service for addressing everyday requirements and providing ongoing support. She praised the volunteers' daily commitment and empathy toward users, while thanking the Rotary Club, its volunteers, partner groups, and all donors for ensuring the initiative's sustainability.
