Police in Pas de la Casa arrested two non-resident men, aged 32 and 36, on Sunday, January 4, on suspicion of offences against public authority, personal liberty, honour, and public health.

Officers were called to an apartment building after the manager reported damage to furniture caused by the occupants. Accompanied by the manager, police entered the flat, verified the destruction, and spotted a plate with white powder residue and a cylindrical cardboard tube on a piece of furniture.

The manager provided the men's identities. When officers later tracked them down and attempted to question them, the pair ignored instructions, resisted, insulted the officers, and assaulted them, causing injuries. A search uncovered a small bag of white powder hidden in one man's wallet. Field tests confirmed both the residue from the flat and the bag contained cocaine.

The suspects were detained and handed over to judicial authorities.

Separately, on Saturday, police arrested a 34-year-old Andorran resident in Andorra la Vella for offences against personal liberty and honour. Officers responded to reports of a man lying on the ground after an apparent assault, found him with a forehead contusion and visibly intoxicated, with no memory of events. He repeatedly refused medical help and acted disrespectfully toward police.

Soon after, he collapsed again nearby and, when approached, threatened and insulted officers, prompting his detention.
