Andorra Selects Clara Vila and Isaac Cabases for 11th Parlement Francophone des Jeunes in Cameroon

The General Council delegation to the Assemblée Parlementaire de la Francophonie (APF) has chosen two young Andorrans, Clara Vila and Isaac Cabases, to represent the country at the 11th edition of the Parlement Francophone des Jeunes.

The event will take place in early July in Yaoundé, Cameroon, running parallel to the APF's ordinary session. It features a parliamentary simulation designed to give participants hands-on insight into the organisation's workings, while encouraging debates on international political topics.

Eligibility required candidates aged 18 to 25 to submit a dossier and presentation video. Applicants needed fluent French, current enrolment in school or university, and membership in a youth, community, or solidarity group. The General Council delegation handled the selection process.

Clara Vila, 18, is pursuing political science studies in Paris and brings volunteer experience, including with Sciences Po Refugee Help, an initiative aiding refugees. Isaac Cabases, 22, studies educational sciences at the University of Andorra and serves as a student representative there.

Participants' discussions and conclusions will be shared directly with APF parliamentarians, promoting exchanges between Francophone youth and elected officials to develop future leaders.
