Andorran Government Approves €69,856 in Subsidies for Gender Equality and Anti-Violence Projects

The Andorran government approved subsidies totaling 69,855.69 euros on Wednesday during a Council of Ministers meeting to support projects promoting gender equality and preventing violence against women.
The funds will back initiatives focused on awareness-raising, training, support services, and prevention efforts, covering part of their organizational costs. Beneficiaries include social associations, professional colleges, media companies, and groups in education, health, and community sectors. This marks the sixth round of such grants.
Projecte Vida received the largest award of 13,866.88 euros for its fifth cycle on reducing addiction risks and raising awareness, plus creating a community space for recovery and empowerment aimed at women with addiction disorders.
Other notable allocations include 7,903.20 euros to Cerqueda Recursos Humans for "Més enllà de la por: transforma els teus límits en impuls"; 6,458.06 euros to Eva Connecta for "Comunicació conscient i reconnexió interior"; and 6,107.63 euros to Socrepro for "Sentir-se bé és possible".
In the associational sphere, the Associació de Dones d’Andorra obtained 4,870.53 euros to fund its Women's Information Point and membership in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Ars Cultura will receive 4,005 euros for "La guitarra en femení", while Associació Joves en Risc d’Andorra gets 4,251.98 euros for activities on affective-sexual education, emotional well-being, and violence prevention.
Additional grants went to Premsa Esportiva Romgual (4,472.25 euros) for "Revista Andorra Esportiva – Sense límit"; Neela (4,781.30 euros) for "Sobrevinguda a la realitat"; Creu Roja Andorrana (3,053.01 euros) for purple points; Cooperand amb Llatinoamèrica (2,670 euros) for Juventia 25; the Col·legi d’Advocats d’Andorra (2,002.50 euros) for member training on equality and gender perspective; In 2 the Forest (1,949.10 euros) for "Estiu de benestar"; Unió Ràdio Pirineu (1,557.50 euros) for the radio program "Amb veu de dona"; Autea (1,062.16 euros) for "Realça"; and Loopa (844.60 euros) for "Tecnolímit".
