A survey commissioned by the political group Virtus reveals significant political disaffection in Andorra, with 64% of respondents stating they feel unrepresented by any current party. The trend appears particularly strong among younger voters.
Conducted online in April 2026, the study involved 307 interviews with Andorran nationals aged 18 and over residing in the country. It carries a margin of error of ±5.6% at a 95% confidence level.
Nearly half of voters base their electoral choices on the prevailing political and social context, indicating lower party loyalty and greater openness to change compared with previous periods.
Respondents rated the current political situation critically: 36.9% described it as bad or very bad, while 16.3% viewed it as good or very good.
Housing emerged as the top concern, cited by 78% of participants. Salaries followed at 59%, and the cost of living at 44%. Other key issues included healthcare (28%), immigration (27%), working conditions (23%), and mobility or traffic (23%).
Citizens also identified citizen security, economic strength, defence of Andorran sovereignty, and preservation of national identity as major national priorities.
In the political landscape, 50.9% of those surveyed believe there is room for a new conservative party. The report points to growing demand for initiatives focused on effective public management, security, institutional quality, economic sustainability, and safeguarding Andorra's sovereign model. Related concerns encompass civility, identity, and administrative efficiency.
