Virtus, a group that previously operated as a political opinion platform, has formally registered as a conservative political party in Andorra with plans to contest the next general elections.

The new formation aims to promote a rule-of-law state that prioritises respect for institutions and economic integration with neighbouring areas through dialogue, consensus and common sense. Its foundational statutes outline a national and parish-level vocation, emphasising defence of Andorran institutions, respect for local traditions and identity, free-market policies with minimal state intervention, and a "rational and objective" demographic growth.

Party members advocate for property rights, meritocracy as the foundation of equal opportunities, inter-institutional cooperation on territory-wide issues, and development grounded in talent, legal certainty and public-private partnerships. They seek a "strong, sovereign and cohesive" Andorra with solid institutions, sustainable growth policies, quality social, health and education services, and preservation of citizen security as a key asset.

To manage its founding process, Virtus has appointed a provisional executive committee led by president Josep Duró Coma and vice-president Olga Forné Angrill. Other members include Josep Antoni López Alcantara as organisation secretary, Xavier Altimir Planes as treasurer, and vocals Robert Call Masià, Òscar Rossell Margalef, Albert Font Massip and Josep Majoral Obiols.

This committee will organise a national congress to establish the party's permanent structure, develop its action programme alongside members, and prepare national and parish candidatures for the upcoming elections.
