Andorra Audit Court Publishes €6,300 Donations to PS and Unió Laurediana in H1 2026

Andorra's Audit Court disclosed €6,300 in political donations received by the Social Democratic Party and Unió Laurediana from January to June 2026, as required by electoral financing laws.

Key Points

  • PS received €3,300 from four donors: Pere Baró (€2,000), Gerard Alís (€1,000), Marta Pujol (€300).
  • Unió Laurediana got €3,000 from Josep Majoral Obiols on May 19.
  • Donations cover Jan-Jun 2026, published per Qualified Law on Political Parties.
  • No other parties or groupings reported donations in the period.

The Audit Court has published details of donations totaling €6,300 received by the Social Democratic Party (PS) and Unió Laurediana (UL) during the first half of 2026.

The information appeared in an edict released on Wednesday in the Official Bulletin of the Principality of Andorra (BOPA), covering contributions from January 1 to June 30. This follows requirements under the Qualified Law on Political Parties and Electoral Financing, which mandates that parties and groupings with seats in the General Council or communes notify the Audit Court of all donations within eight working days of receipt. The court then publishes the lists every six months.

The PS reported four donations amounting to €3,300: two of €1,000 each from Pere Baró on March 24 and May 15; €1,000 from Gerard Alís on May 11; and €300 from Marta Pujol on March 23.

Unió Laurediana listed a single €3,000 donation from Josep Majoral Obiols on May 19.

The obligation applies not only to political parties but also to groupings that have secured representation in the General Council or communes, or those maintaining activities with the intent to participate in future elections, as outlined in current political financing rules.

No donations were reported by any other parties or groupings with representation during the period.
