Episcopal Co-Prince Attends Canillo's Traditional Lunch at Aina Centre

Josep Lluís Serrano Pentinat, the Episcopal Co-Prince, attended Canillo's traditional institutional lunch at the Aina centre on Thursday, alongside parish officials led by Major Consul Jordi Alcobé and Minor Consul Marc Casal.

The annual event at the emblematic Aina site—valued for its natural, heritage, and social importance—served as a moment of recognition, conviviality, and reconnection beyond politics. The menu featured local products, underscoring commitments to regional cuisine and sustainability.

Alcobé emphasised the value of such gatherings at landmark parish spaces like Aina, which focuses on nature activities, education, and civic values for children and youth. "Aina is a cherished space for Canillo, representing our bond with the territory, natural heritage, and the training and values of future generations," he said. "This institutional lunch also reinforces ties and highlights the work done at this facility throughout the year."

The occasion recognised the centre's staff and instructors for their ongoing contributions to Aina's operations. Alcobé noted that the Co-Prince's presence added special significance, enabling shared appreciation for those driving the project. He offered particular thanks to mossèn Ramon for his dedication in establishing Aina as a hub for nature, education, and values transmission.

The day ended with a tour of the surrounding natural area, allowing participants to see current institutional projects firsthand.
