The General Council of Andorra has raised salaries for seven special relations staff members to match the institution's new pay scale, approved on 18 June and applied to other chamber personnel from 1 July.

The Sindicatura approved the update on 9 September, with details published in the Official Bulletin of the Principality of Andorra (BOPA) on Wednesday. The affected roles span services including Communications, Protocol, Culture, General Auditing, and the Secretary General. Among those impacted are civil servants in special relations positions, such as the secretary general, general auditor, and head of protocol, who previously missed out on the adjustments and fell behind colleagues.

The new gross monthly salaries range from €2,095.30 to €6,880.53, specifically: €2,095.30, €2,760.07, two at €3,775.73, €4,438.14, €4,441.08, and €6,880.53.

This brings their pay in line with increases already in effect since July. The overall salary grid features 15 classification levels, with annual base pay from €20,188.41 to €74,485.95. Including maximum career supplements, the top level can reach €111,728.93 annually.

The staff statute changes also introduce a new pay table from 1 January 2027, to be adjusted yearly based on positive IPC inflation. The Council aims to align conditions with the wider state administration. Full remuneration details appear in the BOPA publication.
