The General Council of Andorra has raised salaries for seven special relations civil servants to match the institution's new pay scale, setting monthly gross amounts between €2,095.30 and €6,880.53.
The Sindicatura approved the increases on 9 September, with details published in the Official Bulletin of the Principality of Andorra (BOPA) on Wednesday. The move covers staff in Communications, Protocol, Culture, General Auditing, and the Secretary General, who had yet to receive the benefits applied to other chamber employees since 1 July.
The new scale, approved by assent on 18 June with staff statute updates, features 15 salary levels. Annual base pay spans €20,188.41 to €74,485.95, rising to a potential €111,728.93 with full career supplements. Specific monthly figures include €6,880.53 for the Secretary General, €4,441.08 for Culture, €4,438.14 for General Auditing, €3,775.73 and €2,760.07 for Communications, and €3,775.73 and €2,095.30 for Protocol.
Further changes to staff statutes will introduce an updated pay table from 1 January 2027, with annual rises linked to positive IPC inflation to align with state administration standards. Full information appears in the BOPA.
