  • New features include QR sharing, electoral details, categorization, and favorites.
  • Grew from 11 to 26 credentials since early 2025; plans for 38 by 2028.
  • Future additions: public transport cards in 2026, ski passes by 2028.

The Andorran government has added pet ownership certificates to its digital wallet app on the service's first anniversary, increasing the total available credentials to 26.

Minister for Public Function and Digital Transformation Marc Rossell highlighted the milestone on Thursday, with the app now serving 25,067 registered users—32% of residents, or one in three people. It processes around 25,590 authentications monthly and gains more than 100 users daily. Among those with reported ages, two-thirds fall between 31 and 60, 15% are over 60, 17% aged 19-30, and 2% between 16 and 18.

The update introduces QR code generation for sharing and verifying credentials between digital wallets, such as showing a vehicle inspection at an ITV station. Users can now access electoral census details and polling locations if eligible, plus organise credentials by category, mark favourites, and filter displays.

Rossell called the first year a success, advancing from 11 initial credentials at the start of 2025. He credited nearly 3,000 user calls for recent enhancements and aims to add seven more by 2027, totalling 38 by 2028.

Future plans include public transport cards next year through collaboration with FEDA Solucions, despite complexities in payments and validation. Negotiations continue for 2027-2028 ski passes from various private providers. On cross-border use, Spain has pledged support, with efforts advancing toward EU-wide standards. Rossell encouraged parishes and private firms to contribute credentials for smoother identification.
