Andorra's Ministry of Foreign Affairs now reports significant progress in repatriating nationals and residents from the Middle East conflict zone, with 21 of 31 tracked cases either returned or in transit as of the latest update. Foreign Minister Imma Tor expressed confidence that all who wish to return will be back in Andorra by the end of the week.

The ministry has coordinated closely with airlines, as well as French and Spanish consular authorities, to facilitate returns amid gradually reopening airspace. Tor highlighted efforts to assist those in vulnerable situations, crediting progressive flight operations for the advances. Of the remaining cases, eight individuals have confirmed flights this week, while two await final airline confirmation. The other two have decided to stay in the region and are reported safe, with the ministry monitoring their situation and providing official guidance.

This follows earlier developments: 16 people had reached Andorra or other European countries, out of immediate danger, including six who departed over the weekend. The total of 31 consular cases—exceeding the 25 handled across all 2025 emergencies—arose after US and Israeli strikes on Iran's regime prompted regional offensives and airspace closures in countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

Five cases have been fully resolved, including some with French consular help. Tor reiterated that "the safety of Andorrans and residents is our absolute priority," urging travellers to register for assistance and contact the consular emergencies line at 324 292. No specifics on routes, airlines, or arrival times have been disclosed.

The ministry continues round-the-clock support for those still affected.
