The historic Casa de la Vall will be officially inaugurated on 22 December, with the traditional Sant Tomàs session held in its historic hemicycle, and will reopen to the public on Tuesday 23 December. Public visits will be free from 23 December until Constitution Day on 14 March 2026.

The restoration has returned the former parliamentary seat to an appearance closer to its original state after months of work. Inaugural events will include a mid-morning presentation on the conservation and renovation by architect Enric Dilmé and heritage adviser Eudald Guillamet in the new parliamentary building, followed by a guided tour of the refurbished Casa de la Vall. Síndic General Carles Ensenyat will deliver an introductory speech in the Passos Perduts before the traditional council session, which will take place in the historic hemicycle around midday and include reports from delegations to the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie. The institutional programme will close with the customary group photograph on the building’s steps and the traditional partridge lunch; these acts will precede public opening.

Officials have warned that access to some rooms will remain temporarily restricted while finishing works and final adjustments continue despite the inauguration. The General Council’s recent junta of presidents discussed the completion of the works; the next meeting of that body is scheduled for 12 January, when legislative projects will be distributed to commissions and the parliamentary calendar will resume, including a budget debate for 2026 set for 22 January. The swearing-in of Víctor Torre de Silva y López de Letona, the magistrate to the Constitutional Court designated by the episcopal Coprince, is scheduled for the morning of 19 December.

Among the items to be displayed in the renovated building is a recently restored flag, likely the earliest documented Andorran banner. Dated to around 1867 and attributed to Josep Oromí, the flag has been returned to Cultural Heritage and will be placed in a prominent location within the historic premises.
