Around 70 participants joined the Lúdic Solidari event on Sunday at Forn de Canillo, where ski mountaineering and snowshoeing routes raised 350 euros for autism support group AUTEA.
The Travessa Solidària d’Esquí de Muntanya i Raquetes, organised by Canillo council, started at 9.30am from the Planell del Forn ski school. Participants chose medium-level ski mountaineering trails or easy-to-medium snowshoe paths amid the natural landscape.
Each 15-euro entry fee included a 5-euro donation to the Associació del Trastorn de l’Espectre de l’Autisme (AUTEA), accounting for the full amount collected. Children enjoyed free descents on the Magic Gliss slide, adding a playful element.
Councillor for Youth, Childhood and Sports Laura Riba welcomed the turnout, noting that the event successfully blended sport, nature and solidarity. She expressed satisfaction with the participation and contributions from partner entities.
