Inter Escaldes Surge to Five Straight Titles with 5-3 Win Over Ranger's

Inter Escaldes bolstered their position at the top of the Lliga Multisegur Assegurances with a 5-3 victory at Ranger's FC on Sunday, increasing their lead over UE Santa Coloma to three points after the rivals' 0-0 derby draw on Saturday.

Felip Ortiz's side now requires just one point from their remaining two fixtures—against Atlètic Club d'Escaldes on May 9 and CE Carroi—to claim a fifth successive title. UE Santa Coloma, under Iñaki Alonso and with one game in hand against Esperança, would need Inter to lose both matches while securing a win themselves.

The Santa Coloma derby at Encamp Stadium produced few clear chances, with both sides excelling defensively in a balanced contest.

Inter's match unfolded in chaotic fashion. Borja Arellano gave the visitors an early lead, only for Ranger's to respond through Leonel Prieto Payán and Jorge Padilla Leal. Antonio Otegui and Joseba Muguruza restored Inter's advantage before halftime. Pedja Muñoz extended the margin after the break, David Segura pulled one back, and Pochettino sealed the win in stoppage time.

Atlètic Club d'Escaldes cruised to a 3-0 home win over CE Carroi at Borda Mateu. Rodrigo Piloto struck in the seventh minute and again in added time, with Marc Pujol adding a late second in between despite Carroi's efforts. The defeat leaves Carroi short of mathematical safety, keeping Esperança— who had a bye—in the relegation fight alongside the already excluded Pas de la Casa.

Penya Encarnada rounded out the 25th round with a 1-0 success at Ordino, Rony Patrick Jouson scoring the decisive goal.
