Andorran Football Federation Honors Top Players and Coaches at Annual Gala

The Andorran Football Federation (FAF) celebrated its annual Night of Football gala on Monday, distributing more than 40 awards to recognise standout performers from the 2025-26 season as well as lifetime achievements.

Rodrigo Piloto of Atlètic Club d'Escaldes was named best male player, Marina Fernández of FC Ordino took the top women's player honour, and Felip Ortiz of Inter Club d'Escaldes earned best coach. In futsal, Quim Altés of CF Esperança was selected as leading player and Óscar Neira of FC Madriu as top coach, while Adrià Moral of CF Esperança received the women's football coaching award.

Antoine Chiaramonti and Alexis Terrazo were honoured as the best referees in football and futsal. Leading scorers across competitions included Borja Arellano (Inter d'Escaldes), Uile Carvalho da Silva (la Massana), Gerard Raventós (Encamp), Marcos Domínguez (Amèrica), and Júlia Solana (Carroi). Awards for strongest defences went to UE Santa Coloma, CE Casa de Portugal, Ranger’s, and FS Velocitat.

Fair Play recognition was given to Inter Club d'Escaldes, UE Santa Coloma B, UE Extremenya, CE Carroi, and FC Ordino.

Special tributes marked career milestones, including international referee Andreu Vilanova and retiring official Luis Do Nascimento. The senior futsal team was celebrated for climbing to 51st in the FIFA rankings, and the under-16 women's side for their 5-0 victory over San Marino. Several players received distinctions for international caps, with Max Llovera and Max García honoured for surpassing 75 appearances.

Retirements from the national team prompted accolades for Marc Pujol, Sergio Moreno, Alex Cardoso, and Marina Fernández, who combined her player award with a career tribute. The event doubled as a festive gathering for athletes, coaches, referees, and contributors who have shaped Andorran football.
