Rodrigo Piloto Named Best Male Footballer at Andorran FAF Gala

Rodrigo Piloto of Atlètic Club d'Escaldes has been named the best male footballer of the 2025-26 season at the Andorran Football Federation's (FAF) Night of Football gala. Marina Fernández of FC Ordino received the top award for best female player, while Quim Altés of CF Esperança was honoured as the leading futsal player.

The event took place on Monday evening at the FAF stadium in Encamp, celebrating standout performers from Andorra's domestic football and futsal competitions. Felip Ortiz, coach of Inter Club d'Escaldes, was recognised as the best football manager, with Óscar Neira of FC Madriu earning the equivalent futsal coaching prize. Adrià Moral of CF Esperança was named best women's football coach.

Additional awards went to top goalscorers across categories, including Borja Arellano (Inter d'Escaldes), Uile Carvalho da Silva (La Massana), Gerard Raventós (Encamp), Marcos Domínguez (América) and Júlia Solana (Carroi). Teams with the strongest defences—UE Santa Coloma, CE Casa de Portugal, Ranger’s and FS Velocitat—were also acknowledged, alongside Fair Play honours for Inter Club d'Escaldes, UE Santa Coloma B, UE Extremenya, CE Carroi and FC Ordino.

Referees Antoine Chiaramonti (football) and Alexis Terrazo (futsal) received accolades. Special recognitions included tributes to international referee Andreu Vilanova, retiring official Luis Do Nascimento, the senior futsal team's 51st FIFA ranking position, the under-16 women's team's 5-0 win over San Marino, and the careers of retiring internationals Marc Pujol, Sergio Moreno, Alex Cardoso and Marina Fernández.
