BC MoraBanc Andorra has officially confirmed the departure of American-Guinean point guard Shannon Evans II after two seasons with the club.
The announcement followed reports from one week earlier that Evans, who held a contract through next year, had activated a buyout clause to join Promitheas Patras in Greece—a team preparing for the Basketball Champions League preliminary phase.
Over his time with the Pyrenean outfit, Evans played 65 official games: 59 in Liga Endesa, four in the Catalan League, and two in the Basketball Champions League. He cemented his place in the club's ACB history, ranking seventh in assists (303), 11th in valuation (839 credits), and 12th in points (778).
This past season, with nearly 26 minutes per game, Evans led the league in assists alongside Marcelinho Huertas at 5.5 per match. He also averaged 13.4 points, 1.2 steals, and a 14.3 valuation.
