The 13th edition of the Travessa Solidària Transfronterera 1km1vida brought together 260 participants on Sunday, linking La Seu d’Urgell in Spain with Sant Julià de Lòria in Andorra through sport and solidarity.

Runners and walkers set off from La Seu d’Urgell, with all routes finishing at Plaça de la Germandat in Sant Julià de Lòria. The event featured a 21km race with 84 entrants, a 9km race that drew the largest field of 123, and an inclusive walk taken by 53 people. Organisers presented prizes at the finish line plaza, thanking participants, entities, and institutions for their support.

In the 21km race, Jordi Gallego took first place in the men’s category, ahead of Matias Rivero and Àlex Muños. Queralt Riba claimed victory in the women’s division, followed by Sonia Atanes and Maria Martín.

The 9km race saw Iker Valero lead the men’s podium, with Eliel Mendoza in second and Roc Martin third. Míriam Martínez topped the women’s standings, ahead of Núria Moreno and Cristina Mayoral.

Beyond the competition, the event maintained its charitable focus. Proceeds will support projects from the Fundació Vicente Ferrer and, for this edition, a Nepal initiative addressing mental health and caregiver support. The annual cross-border challenge aims to strengthen ties across the frontier via inclusion, physical activity, and giving back.
