MoraBanc Andorra president Gorka Aixàs dismissed concerns over the team's three straight ACB League defeats, stressing that the squad showed promising form in much of its latest outing despite a late collapse.

Speaking Thursday during a collaboration agreement signing with Escaldes-Engordany council, Aixàs described the team as still building and too early in the season for worry. He highlighted the first three quarters of Wednesday's 96-75 loss at Joventut Badalona as the strongest stretch yet, offering real glimpses of potential. "We've seen what we can be," he said, convinced that sustaining that level would yield wins. While admitting no clear reason for the final-period drop—"We fell like a stone, I don't know exactly why"—he maintained the scoreline did not capture the on-court balance or roster capabilities. The side had chances to win, he added, and must extend such play over full games: "We'll take those three quarters and try to make them four."

Aixàs drew on last season's late drama, when survival hinged on the final matchday, to underline his point. "I was worried on the last day last year," he said. "Nobody should get nervous after three games." He defended players including Chumi Ortega, Aquino, and Kuric for their experience and unquantifiable contributions, noting a new-look lineup still defining roles amid internal competition, particularly up front. Coach Zan Tabak echoed this after the game, blaming a defensive lapse during offensive struggles and mental fragility, plus ongoing rebound issues. He rejected fatigue as the cause, praised gradual improvement, and anticipated a full 40 minutes of solid basketball soon.

The council deal names the club's special-needs team after the authority and covers an official match this season, replacing the canceled preseason Trofeu Escaldes-Engordany due to San Pablo Burgos' absences. Escaldes-Engordany will also donate the equivalent amount to AMMA, Andorra's rare diseases association. Deputy mayor Quim Dolsa called it a point of pride, while Aixàs thanked the support for this growing social effort.
