Andbank and the Andorran Tennis Federation (FAT) have launched the 2026 Andbank Tennis Circuit, a national youth competition that began on 7-8 March at Princiesport in Escaldes for pre-benjamin, benjamin, and aleví categories, alongside infantils and cadets events in Encamp.

The sponsorship agreement, signed by FAT president Gerard Blasi and Andbank's country banking director Maria Suárez, provides dedicated funding to develop the series. It includes six tournaments from March to November—skipping July and August—culminating in a masters event for the top six or eight players per category. Matches use sets to four games with a super tie-break in the third, allowing young players multiple games per day, as FAT sports director Èric Garcia explained.

The initiative addresses economic and logistical barriers to overseas competitions, aiming to nurture local talent and expand Andorran tennis domestically and internationally. Blasi described the partnership as key to stabilising and elevating the project, while Suárez highlighted shared values of effort, discipline, and commitment. This is the first collaboration between the two, lasting one year with renewal options.

FAT also unveiled plans for an international youth tournament in Andorra, previewed in the 2026 season calendar. Dates remain unconfirmed pending facility analysis—requiring at least four courts per venue for boys' and girls' singles and doubles across two sites. Age groups, potentially under-12 to under-18, will be set with club and academy input. Blasi stressed its value in benchmarking local players against global standards to boost grassroots development, targeting late summer near the September school start. Garcia noted rising participation among promising youth ready for higher-level events and potential national team roles.
