Andorra's ski resorts are operating at full capacity for New Year's Eve, with 100% of pistes open across Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal, and Ordino Arcalís following heavy recent snowfalls that have produced depths exceeding one metre in several areas.

Grandvalira has connected all sectors, providing access to more than 190 kilometres of pistes within its nearly 316-kilometre network, alongside snow depths ranging from 50 to 80 centimetres. Pal Arinsal offers its full 63 kilometres of runs for all skill levels, including the iconic black piste La Capa—featuring the Principat's greatest vertical drop—which recent accumulations up to 100 centimetres have made possible. Ordino Arcalís provides complete access to all lifts and slopes, with depths over one metre and maximums reaching 135 centimetres; its four renowned freeride zones are also fully open and in top condition.

More than 80 kilometres of marked trails remain available for backcountry skiing and snowshoeing, expanding options beyond alpine skiing. Favourable forecasts point to sunny weather and mild temperatures in the coming days, setting up prime conditions for the holiday period.

The resorts have launched comprehensive festive schedules. Soldeu starts with a torchlit descent on December 31 at 6pm, including snowcats demonstrating piste grooming, followed by a children's lantern run on January 3; both conclude with hot chocolate. Pal Arinsal hosts a lantern event on January 4 at 6pm for ages 6-12, ending with chocolate at Pla de la Cot. Pas de la Casa wraps up on January 5 at 6pm with a torchlit descent ahead of the Three Kings procession through local streets and a fireworks finale. Additional draws include snowshoeing, tobogganing, zip lines, night skiing, gastronomic dinners, and après-ski with international DJs, capped by a New Year's Eve party at L'Abarset.
