The Andorran team finished second at the European Small States Team Championship, held from 14 October to 22 November in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The squad, made up of Òscar de la Riva, Daniel Gómez, Marc González, Esteve Mateu and Serni Ribera, ended on 16 points, level with the pre-tournament favourites and eventual champions, the Faroe Islands. Andorra were unable to retain the title they won in Jersey in 2023.
The tiebreak — the sum of total points from the nine matches — favoured the Faroe Islands, handing them first place. Both Andorra and the Faroe Islands lost one match, each defeat coming against host nation Cyprus.
Cyprus finished third, ahead of Luxembourg, with 15 points.
