She trailed winner Jessica Hilzinger of Germany by 0.70 seconds and finished just 0.07 seconds behind second-placed Isabella Pedrazzi of Switzerland. Medina held third after the first run despite errors in the upper section and balance issues on the straight wall, then delivered the second-fastest second-run time to hold her position. The result earned her 27.24 FIS points, her second-best mark of the season, and marked her fifth podium finish this campaign—two seconds and three thirds—following a fourth place in Latvia's national giant slalom at Pozza on December 18.
