With Castañeda sidelined, the club has returned to the transfer market. According to agent Artem Komarov, the 31-year-old Robertson is on the verge of leaving Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia's VTB League. He has already attracted interest from several ACB teams, including Dreamland Gran Canaria, Casademont Zaragoza, and La Laguna Tenerife.
Coach Francesc Solana faces a challenge in persuading the Ontario native—whose international experience is limited to Canada, like Aaron Best—to join Andorra. Robertson has struggled this season at Kuban, averaging 8.3 points, 2.7 assists, and an 8.3 efficiency rating.
His European career began in Italy with Fortitudo Bologna, where he posted 14.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He then moved to Spain, spending two stints at Monbus Obradoiro before joining Valencia Basket for one year of a two-year deal, overlapping with Shannon Evans II.
