The season opens on March 7 with the KM Vertical de Cámara de Lobos in Portugal. Andorra's Travessa d’Encamp follows as the second round on May 22, a 5-kilometer route featuring 1,030 meters of positive elevation gain. The fourth stop comes on June 6 with the Casamanya Extrem Vertical Race, spanning 5.5 kilometers and 1,400 meters of ascent. Other dates include a race in Japan after the Travessa d’Encamp, Canada on June 26, the United States on July 4, and Colombia on August 6.
Competitors need to complete at least three events to qualify for the finals, whose venue is yet to be confirmed. Andorran runner Arnau Soldevila enters as the defending 2025 champion.
