Íria Medina and Pere Cornella swept the Andorran super-G national championships and the following FIS races at the Creand Cup on Grandvalira's Àliga piste.

The competitions kicked off at 9.45am with the women's and men's national events. In the women's race, Medina clocked 55.02 seconds for victory, with Carlota Comellas second at +4.87 seconds and Isabella Pérez third at +4.95. Ainhoa Piccino placed fourth (+5.78), while Jordina Caminal, fresh from World Cup races and eyeing European Cup finals, did not finish.

Cornella edged out the men's national title in 53.84 seconds, holding off Àlex Rius by 0.01 seconds (53.85). Jordi Rogel took third at +0.20 (54.04), followed by Xavier Cornella fourth (+0.21), Bartumeu Gabriel fifth (+0.22), Max Black sixth (+0.54), Marc Fernández seventh (+1.21), Àlex Comellas eighth (+1.63), Salva Cornella ninth (+1.68), Robert Solsona tenth (+2.50), Èric Mitjana 11th (+2.56) and Èric Guimerà 12th (+2.93). Marcel Pérez failed to finish.

Medina and Cornella repeated their dominance in the afternoon FIS super-G races. Medina won the women's event in 55.17 seconds, ahead of Pérez (+3.89) and Comellas (+4.61). Cornella led the men's FIS race at 53.85 seconds, with Rius second (+0.10) and Xavier Cornella third (+0.39).

Age-category national titles included Salva Cornella in men's U21, Comellas in women's U18 and Rogel in men's U18. FIS U18 winners were Max Black in men and Pérez in women.

The Àliga piste, recently hosting women's World Cup events, drew national teams and EEBE under-19 skiers. Upcoming technical nationals feature FIS slalom and giant slalom at Pas de la Casa on 7-8 April, followed by national slalom on 9 April and giant slalom on 10 April at Esparver in El Tarter.

Separately, FAE alpine skier Cande Moreno had surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee, sustained in the Milan-Cortina Olympics downhill.
