Nit de l’Esport gala returns to Pavelló Toni Martí on 19 December

The Nit de l’Esport returns on 19 December at 19:00 in the Pavelló Toni Martí. Organised by the Andorran Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, the second edition of the year‑end gala aims to showcase and publicly recognise the country’s sporting talent.

Catalan presenter and comedian Quim Masferrer, best known for the television programme El Foraster, will serve as master of ceremonies. The event will present awards to the best ARA athletes of the 2024–2025 season and will also honour athletes, coaches and other sports professionals who have stood out across different disciplines, including those who have dedicated their careers to sport in the Principality.

The gala is sponsored by Andbank and Andorra Telecom, with collaboration from RTVA and MoraBanc Andorra. It is open to the public and tickets are available online; reports differ on the cost, with some outlets saying admission is free and others reporting tickets on sale for €5.

Organisers say the format is intended to raise the visibility of Andorran sport and provide a public platform to close the sporting year. Last year’s edition set a high benchmark, distributing a total of €58,500 in awards and recognising athletes such as Joan Verdú and Mònica Dòria, among others.
