Anna Siskova came from a set down to beat Andorran Vicky Jiménez Kasintseva 5–7, 6–2, 6–2 in the round of 16 at the Limoges Challenger (WTA 125) on hard court. The Czech, ranked 284, overturned the challenge from No. 115 Jiménez to advance.

Jiménez began strongly, racing to a 3–0 lead and later responding to Siskova’s breaks to take the opening set 7–5. Siskova then seized control, moving ahead in the second set and closing it 6–2 after Jiménez could only reduce the deficit. In the decider Siskova opened a 4–0 lead; although Jiménez fought back, Siskova held on to finish 6–2.

Jiménez had also been eliminated in the round of 16 last week at the Open Angers Loire Trélazé. Siskova will next face France’s Manon Leonard (No. 192), who earlier defeated Spain’s Marina Bassols 2–0.
