  • Programme reinforces development by combining speed and technique across different courses and conditions.

The Esquí Club Pas de la Casa Grau Roig athletes completed a demanding training block of speed and technique between Cervinia-Breuil (Italy) and Bonneval (France) from 29 November to 7 December.

From 29 November to 3 December, the under-14 and under-16 groups focused on super-G at Cervinia, chosen for its piste quality and safety. “We did four days of speed on hard snow, three days with double sessions, working on positions, confidence and lines,” said Damien Bousquet, head of the programme. The two age groups combined technical drills and speed work throughout the stay.

From 3 to 7 December, nine club athletes continued the camp in Bonneval, where they trained on water-injected hard snow prepared for FIS races. “The snow gripped very well, it was cold and easy to ski. We did three sessions on the steeper section with roughly 40-second courses and three sessions on the flatter, more varied section, so we could adapt to the terrain,” Bousquet added.

The Pas Grau programme reinforces its development model by combining speed and technique training across different courses and snow conditions.
