Trofeu Andorra la Vella Raises €3,160 for Disability Charity

The fourth edition of the Trofeu Andorra la Vella basketball tournament generated €3,160 in ticket sales, with proceeds going entirely to the Andorra la Vella association 'Hi Arribarem', which works to make mountain activities accessible for people with functional diversity.

Held on 26 September at the Pavelló Toni Martí, the preseason friendly featured MoraBanc Andorra against BAXI Manresa. Tickets were priced at a nominal €5 to turn the event into direct support for a key local social organisation. The Andorra la Vella commune and BC MoraBanc Andorra jointly organised the match.

On Monday, Andorra la Vella consuls Sergi González and Olalla Losada joined BC MoraBanc Andorra president Gorka Aixàs and the club's corporate social responsibility manager Natàlia De Felipe for the cheque handover. They presented the funds to 'Hi Arribarem' president Joan Rossell and secretary Arnau Calvet.

Organisers highlighted the enthusiastic fan response and the benefits of connecting professional sports with domestic social projects. The initiative reinforces collective dedication to inclusion, effort, and social unity.

'Hi Arribarem' representatives thanked supporters, stating that donations like this help sustain programmes bringing the mountains closer to those with disabilities.

Separately, BC MoraBanc Andorra is arranging a fan trip to Zaragoza this Sunday for the away game against Casademont at 6pm. The bus and ticket package costs €40 (€25 for cheer section members), with sign-ups closing Tuesday night.
