Female Driver Crashes into 6-12 Parked Motorcycles in Massana

A female driver lost control of her car early this morning on Avinguda Sant Antoni in Massana, colliding with around six to 12 parked motorcycles and causing material damage but no injuries.

The crash occurred just before 5am near numbers 50 or 58 on the avenue, police and traffic services confirmed. Authorities attributed it to a brief lapse in attention, with the driver testing negative on a breathalyser. A police patrol, a two-officer traffic unit, and a fire truck attended the scene, clearing the road and removing the damaged bikes over about an hour. Massana traffic officials notified several owners after their motorcycles were knocked over. The incident caused alarm among nearby residents, some of whom had bikes parked in the area, and led to brief traffic delays on one of the parish's main routes. Police have opened proceedings to establish the full circumstances and check for any negligence.

Hours earlier, shortly before midnight, a separate motorcycle crash took place on Avinguda Tarragona in Andorra la Vella, almost directly opposite the McAuto. The Spanish-plated bike had two occupants who lost control after an alert at around 11:55pm. Firefighters' medical teams and police responded. The passenger, a 17-year-old local girl, received minor injuries and was treated on site; the driver was unharmed.
