Bus services between Escaldes-Engordany in Andorra and La Seu d'Urgell in Spain now run with expanded frequencies Monday to Saturday, offering eight daily departures from Caldea and seven in the reverse direction.
The updated schedule took effect on September 1. From Caldea, buses depart at 7:45am, 9:45am, 11:45am, 3:54pm, 4:45pm, 5:45pm, 7:45pm, and 9:45pm. From La Seu d'Urgell, services leave at 6:45am, 8:45am, 10:45am, 2:45pm, 4:45pm, 6:45pm, and 8:45pm.
Operated by the HIFE group, the service previously offered 32 trips each way on weekdays, following an increase from August 1 that provided roughly 30-minute intervals from early morning to late evening. Sundays and holidays maintain 16 trips each direction, up from 13, with operations now including Christmas Day and New Year's Day—starting at 8am and ending at 11pm from Caldea, and 7am to 10pm from La Seu d'Urgell.
The enhancements, initially announced in July, improve cross-border travel options throughout the day for commuters and visitors by distributing services across morning, afternoon, and evening slots. Full timetables appear on the Estació Nacional website.
