Andorra Passport Rises to 35th in Global Mobility Ranking With Score of 142

Andorra's passport has risen one place to 35th in the global mobility ranking published by Passport Reports, with data updated on 18 October 2026. The document, which previously sat 36th, now carries a mobility score of 142 out of 198 destinations and a global reach of 71.7%.

Of those destinations, 98 allow Andorran citizens to enter visa-free, while 33 offer a visa on arrival or other simplified procedures. A further 11 require an electronic travel authorisation, and 56 still demand a visa obtained in advance. The first three categories together account for the passport's score of 142. The platform publishes reports on the passports of 199 countries in 34 languages.

Within Europe, Andorra ranks 34th of 47 countries. It places 23rd of 27 among euro-using states and 36th of 57 among participants in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. The European placing is a separate classification from the global one, and the Principality does not appear in any other geographic region of the platform's directory.

Passport Reports also measures how easily foreign visitors can enter each country. On those indicators Andorra sits 75th among the most welcoming destinations and 71st in the inverse ranking of the most restrictive. These lists assess entry conditions for holders of foreign passports, not the number of destinations open to Andorran citizens.

In its Explore section, the platform offers further comparisons based on access to specific destinations. Andorra ranks 18th of 65 passports for entry to the Schengen area, 38th of 46 for the United States, 46th of 84 for the United Kingdom, 43rd of 54 for Canada and 44th of 83 for China. These are filtered groupings based on the entry route recorded for each destination rather than independent indices.
