The Andorran government has approved updated rates and supplements for the ordinary interurban taxi service (TOI) for 2026, publishing them in the Official Bulletin of the Principality (BOPA) on Wednesday, with changes taking effect the next day. The Council of Ministers gave its approval on 4 March 2026.

The flag-down fee rises to €3.20, an increase of 10 cents from €3.10 last year. Daytime Tariff 1 rates—applying Monday to Friday from 7am to 9pm—now cost €1.40 per kilometre, up 5 cents. Tariff 2 for nights and public holidays increases to €1.65 per kilometre from €1.55.

Waiting time carries a charge of €22.20 per hour, previously €22. Trips outside Andorra cost €0.75 per kilometre, calculated on the round-trip distance, up from €0.70.

Supplements include €0.70 for skis or luggage over 55 x 35 x 35 cm; €1.20 for bookings through the Taxi Reservations Centre; and €1.60 for more than four passengers. A special €3.45 flat supplement applies on 1 January, 14 March, 8 September, and 25 December from midnight to midnight.

Minimum fares for Reservations Centre bookings depend on destination: €7.25 to Aixovall; €8.55 to Encamp, La Massana, or Sant Julià de Lòria; €24.60 to Pont Tibetà or Cortals d'Encamp; €31.45 to Grau Roig, Arcalís, or La Seu d'Urgell; and €43.70 to Pas de la Casa.

Drivers must start the taximeter only after collecting a passenger and confirming the destination. They also need to display all rates and supplements clearly inside the vehicle for transparency. Officials attribute the adjustments to rising operational costs.
