Andorra Bus Service Hits 604K Riders in 2025, Up 8.6%

Andorra la Vella's communal bus service recorded 604,440 passengers over 2025, marking an 8.6% increase from the 556,783 users in 2024.

The Ciutat Valls line (LV) led usage with 349,613 passengers, followed by the Margineda line (LM) at 210,776 and the Serradells line (LS) with 44,051. These figures, reported across multiple outlets, underscore the service's growing integration into daily parish travel.

Councillor for Traffic and Parking Xavier Surana attributed the rise to the buses meeting genuine local transport demands and serving as an effective alternative to private cars. He emphasised their value in fostering territorial cohesion and advancing sustainable mobility.

"People rely on it every day for commuting, school runs or errands, making it a staple in many residents' routines," Surana noted.

The parish council welcomed the data as a strong endorsement of public transport's upward trajectory. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to refining the network, aiming to enhance internal connectivity, ease traffic pressures and support more environmentally friendly, inclusive travel options.
