Public transport across Andorra faces significant disruptions from 2:30pm on Monday, January 5, as traditional Three Kings cavalcades take place in multiple parishes.

The Mobility Department outlined the changes on its X account. In La Massana, the procession begins at 5:45pm from Serradora, heads to the Marco Polo roundabout and ends at Plaça de les Fontetes by 6:15pm. Lines L5, L6 and L7 will suspend service between 5pm and 6pm.

Canillo's cavalcade starts around 6pm, halting L3 and L4 from 5:30pm to 6:45pm alongside vehicle restrictions. Encamp's event in the same period stops L4, with L2 avoiding Avinguda Joan Martí.

Encamp and Pas de la Casa host simultaneous processions from 6pm, both wrapping up around 7pm. Encamp's route runs from Plaça dels Arínsols to Parc de l’Ossa, accompanied by the itinerant show *Voyage d’un songe* from Ratafia Théâtre. Pas de la Casa features a torch descent and fireworks, with the Kings arriving via ski pistes to Grandvalira's platform, followed by a street parade with Andorrà Dance and Fitness Club to the Sala de Festes. Receptions follow, where the Kings hand out sweets, collect letters and distribute coca and chocolates to children.

The largest event, organised jointly by Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany communes with Unió Pro Turisme d'Escaldes Engordany (UPTEE), involves nearly 500 participants. It includes 18 themed floats depicting cinema, literature and children's characters, with royal floats guarded by gold-caped aides, animation groups in modern costumes, a batucada drum ensemble, and over 100 organisers and safety staff. Starting at 6pm from Avinguda Príncep Benlloch near Andorra la Vella's commune—floats visible earlier at Plaça Guillemó and Centre Cultural La Llacuna—the parade follows Avinguda Meritxell, Carrer de la Unió, Avinguda Carlemany, Avinguda de les Escoles, Carrer Josep Viladomat and Carrer Esteve Albert, ending around 8pm at Plaça Coprínceps in Escaldes-Engordany. The square becomes the Royal Palace for children's receptions.

Bus impacts are extensive: L1 suspends from 2pm to 6:45pm, rerouting from Avinguda Meritxell via Carrer Prat de la Creu. From 6:30pm, L2 diverts through Carretera de l'Obac, bypassing urban centres. L3 to L7 pause during local events. One source notes the main cavalcade extending to 9pm and ending at Carrer del Parnal, but most confirm the 8pm finish at Plaça Coprínceps.

A royal page collects letters on Sunday, January 4, from 6pm along the Andorra la Vella-Escaldes route, with another session at noon on January 5 at Plaça Coprínceps.

In an interview, Gaspar highlighted the children's excitement as the highlight, urging year-round good behaviour and solidarity.

Travellers should expect delays and check Mobility Department updates.
