Andorra registered 410 vehicles in February, a 6.8% decline from 440 the year before, driven mainly by a 36.7% drop in motorcycles and mopeds to 50 units from 79, according to statistics department data released Tuesday.

Passenger cars also fell 3.9% to 297 from 309, while pickups and trucks rose 24.3% to 46 from 37, and other vehicles—including snowmobiles, trailers, and specials—increased 13.3% to 17 from 15. Of the total, 281 were new and 129 imported used vehicles.

Year-to-date through February 2026, registrations reached 787, up 0.4% or three units from 784 in 2025. Passenger cars grew 4.9% to 583 from 556, pickups and trucks increased 7.7%, and other vehicles jumped 33.3%. Motorcycles and mopeds, however, declined 28.7% to 92 from 129.

Over the past 12 months, the total hit 5,455, a 10.2% rise from 4,952, continuing fleet expansion.

Fuel breakdowns for February showed diesel up 10.7%, petrol down 15.1%, and fully electric vehicles dropping to 13 from 25—a 48% fall in one report. Year-to-date, petrol edged down 1.3%, fully electrics fell 34.2%, and non-plug-in hybrids rose 14.4%, with hybrids stable at 108 units in February. The figures mark a slowdown from 2025's strong finish, especially in two-wheelers.
