Vehicle registrations in Andorra rose sharply in November, with 479 new entries in the Vehicle Register, a 14.6% increase compared with the same month last year, the country’s statistics department reports.

All vehicle categories contributed to the rise. Trucks and light commercial vehicles led the gains with a 53.3% increase, while motorcycles and mopeds rose by 43.5%. Passenger cars, the largest segment, also grew by 6.8%. Of November’s registrations, 350 were new vehicles and 129 were imported, continuing the upward trend seen in recent months.

Through the first eleven months of 2025, Andorra has registered 4,968 vehicles, 10.7% more than in the same period of 2024. The increase is broad‑based: passenger cars added 303 units year‑to‑date, trucks and vans rose 19.7%, and the “Others” category expanded sharply by 72.7%. Motorcycles and mopeds also recorded positive growth.

Energy-type trends show hybrids—especially non‑plug‑in petrol hybrids—posting the strongest gains in November. Fully electric vehicles registered a slight dip in November but remained close to last year’s figures. Vehicles classified as “without fuel” nearly doubled their November registrations.

Looking at January–November data, fully electric vehicles are up 39.9%, from 183 to 256 units, while non‑plug‑in petrol hybrids surged 47.3% to 738 units. The only category to decline year‑to‑date is gasoline‑only vehicles, down 3.6% (from 2,604 to 2,510 units).

On a rolling 12‑month basis from December 2024 to November 2025, 5,400 vehicles were registered, 10.6% more than in the previous 12 months. This sustained increase consolidates the upward trend in Andorra’s vehicle fleet, with the strongest growth in trucks and vans (+13.5%), the “Others” category (+over 68%), and passenger cars (around +10%).
